New Year Running

Some pretty cold nasty weather lately has kept all but the most hearty of us off the roads including of course me who has become quite a wimp as far as cold weather running goes. Really I have no excuse. I have really good cold weather gear that keeps me warm for all of the run. It is the motivation to get my butt out there that is lacking. The first half mile when my body is still warming up is the worst part. After that, I am OK except on sub freezing days when I never seem to get going. Anyway, I have been trying to substitute with treadmill running but it really is not the same thing. I am personally hoping for a warm spell. I am tired of winter already.
